Not an Alligator! It's the rare American Crocodile.

I feel so privileged to have seen Lucy so close. Usually she is on the other side with her mate, a 45 year old toothless male. Big Daddy rules over a harem of 5 females.

  1. Cool. Yes that is most certainly a crocodile as can be seen by the V shaped snout. The alligator has a U shaped snout, some teeth differences, and most importantly has about half the life span of the croc. The croc can also tolerate and even prefers salt and/or brackish water.

    Good eye, spotting him!
